Student achieve excellent ratings at the 2007 WMEA Solo &
Ensemble Contest
This Saturday February 10, eight members of the Ritchie County
High School Band competed in the WVMEA Solo and Ensemble contest
held in Parkersburg. Two students received a Superior First Division
Rating on a solo. These students included Stephanie Clark and
Sara Rollins. Those students receiving an Excellent Second Division
Rating were Stuart Mapes, Kenny Mason, Kim Wilson, and Austin
Weiford. Sara Rollins was selected to submit a recording to enter
the State Solo & Ensemble Recital. Congratulations to everyone
who participated and represented our school so well!
